Music Recap: February 2017

February was dominated by Beyonce, because of her twin pregnancy, Grammys performance, lost competition with Adele at the ceremony in question, her new aesthetic conception, finally because of the cancellation of her Coachella performance. For those, who are not interested in Queen B, there were also a ton of things going on in the magical and mystical world of sounds.

Ryan Adams broke indie fans’ hearts with his Prisoner, Jesca Hoop revived hearts of freak folk enthusiasts, Sampha released great debut, Thundercat released… um.. weird “Drunk”, Depeche Mode tried to be influential again with impressive new single, Jamiroquai continued to be Jamiroquai, Katy Perry released Chained to the Rhythm, which we all going to be listening for the whole year, and At the Drive-In shook the ground with monumental new single. And we all can delete Prince’s discography from our hard drives, because he arrived at Spotify!
